Dive Alert

DiveAlert produces a range of small and lightweight horns that use the compressed air from your cylinder to create a piercingly loud noise. All of the DiveAlert horns fit in between the low pressure hose and the BCD inflator using the quick disconnect, making them quick and easy to install before your dive and remove afterwards.

The horns are available in two variations, each with three fitting options to suit a particular style of inflator.

DiveAlert

The traditional style DiveAlert horn is designed to be used on the surface to attract the attention of someone up to a mile away depending on conditions.

DiveAlert Plus

The DiveAlert Plus is also capable of producing loud noise underwater which can be heard over a great distance to draw the attention of your buddy or other divers.

NO MODS REQUIRED

Fitting a DiveAlert horn does not require any modification to your equipment, and it does not interfere with the normal operation of your equipment. It simple fits between the inflator and the low pressure hose.

EASY TO USE DESIGN

Once the tank is turned on and the DiveAlert horn connected, simply squeeze the horn button signal blast. Remember to check that the horn is installed correctly and functioning properly before every dive. Also be careful not to point the horn toward yourself or anyone who is in close proximity to you when you activate the surface signal (it's really loud!).

HOW IT WORKS

The horn uses chrome-plated brass couplings to attach to your power inflator. On the surface, squeezing the device engages the actuator valve stem causing a small amount of air to flutter a stainless steel diaphragm, emitting a piercingly loud sound from the injection-moulded thermoplastic body. On the DiverAlert Plus the subsurface / underwater signal is produced by a percussion "buzzing" noise made by a piston hitting a stainless steel diaphragm much like a drum.

Which One Will Fit My BCD?

DiveAlert horns come in three fitting options:

Option 1 - Fits all standard style inflators
Option 2 - Fits the SeaQuest AirSource 1 & 2, Zeagle Octo-Plus, Oceanic Air XS & Mares AirControl AirSource 3 QD
Option 3 - Fits the Scubapro Air 2, Tusa Duo-Air Atomic SS1, Sherwood Gemini, and Zeagle Octo-Z
